These Terms of Service govern your use of the Hoscan Therapy website. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms.

These Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website and any content or functionality offered on it. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Informational purpose only

Janice Hoscan, LMFT provides mental-health services: therapy and counseling, in person and by telehealth. This website is limited to providing general information. Using it does not create a therapist–client relationship, and nothing here is a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. A therapeutic relationship begins only through a signed informed-consent agreement.

This site is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of it.

4. Intellectual property

All material on this website, including the code, design, and articles, is protected by copyright. You may not reuse any element without express written permission from Janice Hoscan, LMFT. You may, however, quote full articles or excerpts for educational, informative, or newsworthy purposes as long as you link back to the original article. No obscene, defamatory, libelous, or unlawful use is permitted.

5. Confidentiality

For how information submitted through this site is handled, please see our Privacy Policy. Clinical confidentiality is governed by your client paperwork and applicable law.

6. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website at our discretion, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to others or to us.
